Earnhardt's dry spell ends in Richmond — Victory
had been a long time coming for Dale Earnhardt Jr.
So was taking command Saturday night in the Crown
Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway.
Earnhardt, who had gone 28 races since winning
last July at Chicagoland Speedway, took the lead
with 45 laps left. Once he did, he held off rookie
Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick, who had dominated
the early going
